We’ve been a bit quiet posting updataes of late, though that doesn’t mean we’ve not been busy! Our concerts are still flourishing and we keep in dynamic contact with our supporters and audiences via our several hundred-strong mailing list! We’ve continued to offer a more or less monthly programme of Sunday afternoon concerts and added occasional masterclasses into the mix since summer 2025.
So far this season, we’ve had our first-ever trombone recital, a solo piano recital by a talented young local pianist who is now off to Conservatoire for postgraduate study, a seasonal offering just before Christmas, a wonderful voice and early keyboards recital exploring three centuries of British music, and a piano duo concert featuring a narrated version of Saint Saens’ Carnaval of the Animals.
PUnctuating our concerts are occasional masterclasses for talented young performers, given by seasoned professionals. In October, we hosted violinist, Marcus Barcham-Stevens (who will be returning next season to give a violin recital), and in February a visit by James Gough, Deputy Organist of Southwark Cathedral.
Still to come, to round-off our 18th season are a violin and piano recital (Schumann and Brahms) by Sophia Prodanova, and a varied summer offering by the London Saxophone Choir.
