We opened our seventeenth series of Music in New Malden on 15 September with a splendid concert of Horn Trios by Brahms and Holbrooke given by the young and very talented Borsdorf Ensemble. Following on from our General Meeting, this proved an ideal way to start our latest series, which extends through to June 2025, and featuring en route the world-renowned pianist, Margaret Fingerhut, Vox Duo, Harmonie Choir & Orchestra (performing Pt 1 of Handel’s Messiah), and in the spring/ summer concerts of violin & piano sonatas, talented instrumentalists from the Tiffin Girls’ School in Kingston, the Parkside Saxophone Quartet and a celebrity organ recital (watch this space…).

We are also delighted to announce that we have recently been given substantial funding for our outreach work by a generous private donor, and we look forward to develping this side of our work in the future.
